Get involved with groups, committees, sports teams ...clubs. You're English will improve a lot faster when you spend time with more people, AND you'll have a lot more fun!Obey the laws of Canada. Beginner's Permit but the only person you're allowed to drive with is your Driving Instructor.

So... you say you want to travel a bit while you're here in Canada. No problem, but there are a few things you should know first.
When you're travelling with your host parents anywhere outside of Nova Scotia let your homestay coordinator know where you're going and how long you're going to be away.
When you travel with your host parents outside of Canada you need a letter from your parents, written in English... You need to carry this letter with you when you travel so you can present it to Customs officials. AND…Iet your homestay coordinator know where you're going and how long you'll be away.
